The Codex 1246 is a 17th century German fencing manual including a variety of content. Dörnhöffer's 1909 edition places the manuscript at the Universitätsbibliothek Breslau in what is now Wrocław, Poland; it was lost during World War II, and its current location is unknown. Based on Dörnhöffer's analysis, it seems that this manuscript is a compilation of Albrecht Dürer's 1512 fencing manual, selections from Christian Egenolph's Der Altenn Fechter anfengliche kunst, and sundry other items.
