Michigan State University Head Fencing Coach (Retired) 35 years collegiate fencing experience. I am a student of maestro Charlie Schmitter and learned the Hungarian style of saber fencing as it was taught to maestro Schmitter by Georgio Santelli. In retirement I teach community ed fencing classes in East Lansing, Haslett and Okemos, Michigan. At 61 years old I am just now discovering the joys of longsword fencing.
