The Codex Ⅰ.6.2º.3 is a German fencing manual created by Jörg Wilhalm in 1522.[1] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Universitätsbibliothek Augsburg in Augsburg, Germany. The manuscript seems to be another redaction of the teachings of Johannes Liechtenauer, but unlike the glosses of the previous century, Wilhalm's work is fully illustrated. The Cod. Ⅰ.6.2º.3 seems to be a copy of the earlier, text-less Cod. Ⅰ.6.4º.5, which Hils described as Wilhalm's draftbook.[citation needed] This manuscript was acquired by Paulus Hector Mair in 1561.
