Traite des armes ("Treatise on Weapons", MS X.911) is a Spanish fencing manual created by Pedro de Heredia in the early 1600s.[citation needed] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Kungliga biblioteket in Stockholm, Sweden. Heredia's work is written in French and seems to describe a style combining elements of the Iberian esgrima antigua and the Bolognese fencing of Girolamo Cavalcabo.[citation needed] This is one of three manuscripts of Heredia's work, the other two being the MS E.1939.65.359 and the MS E.1939.65.360.
