I was born in 1973 & have been a life long martial artist. In addition, I possess the martial spirit. This cannot be taught. I’ve used a longbow, recurve bow & crossbow since I was a child. I earned Shodan in Japanese Budo Jujitsu where Kenjitsu (Katana & Wakizashi) & tanto was also part of the curriculum in the 1990’s & early 2000’s. Fought on the university Judo team in college. Studied Tenshin Ryu Kenjitsu at the Ohio Budokan while in law school. So far, self-taught with medieval sword. I particularly enjoy the bastard sword with an approximate blade length of 28” likely because it’s the Western counterpart to the Japanese Katana. Also certified as a tactical operations firearms instructor for (1) Combat Carbine (2) Combat Shotgun & (3) Combat Pistol. It’s interesting how many techniques crossover from ancient to modern.
