Anders Linnard is the founder and head instructor of Gothenburg Historical Fencing School. He started to seriously train and study historical European Martial arts in 2002, but has previously studied rapier in a group called Jeu de sale between 1994-1996. Since 2005 he has been teaching at events in Europe and North America. Additionally he has a long record of competitive fighting.
He specialises in the unarmoured longsword fencing of MS Dresden C487, teaching methodology, coaching and sports studies. He is also working internationally and nationally in overlooking rules and safety requirements for competitions, as well as being active in a national training program for instructors.
Anders is a member of HEMAC.
