Revision as of 19:29, 6 April 2013 by Michael Chidester (talk | contribs)
Heinrich von Gunterrodt was a 16th century Saxon nobleman and fencing historian. He was attached to the electoral court in Wittenberg. In 1579, he published a treatise in New Latin entitled De Veris Principiis Artis Dimicatorie and dedicated it to Johan Albrecht, Duke of Mecklenberg. This text is significant because it offers unique information about several items in the history of fencing.
