I'm currently studying Longsword in New York City at Sword Class NYC/ NYHFA. I've been focusing on Longsword, but I'm also starting Dagger and Ringen. I also wish to start Sword and Buckler, and Messer.
I'm very interested in bringing HEMA into more prominence and recognition throughout the country. I feel that people are too quick to lump us with "re-enactors" and while the SCA and other groups are kinda awesome in their own way, that is not our goal. We are learning the principals of fighting developed in medieval Europe.
