Chapter master, Hotspur School of Defence (York). Currently teaching longsword and messer from a variety of sources and studying quarterstaff and wrestling. Hosts the "Art That Adorns You" series of workshops that occur regularly in York throughout the year, focusing on the more unusual and esoteric aspects of HEMA. Current web officer for the British Federation of Historical Swordplay.
