Cort Bevvijs' Van t'Rapier alleen ("A Short Demonstration of the Single Rapier"; MS KB.72.F.37) is a Dutch fencing manual created between 1602 and 1608 by Pieter Bailly.[citation needed] It currently rests in the holdings of the Koninklijke Bibliotheek in The Hague, Netherlands. It treats the use of the rapier, but rather than presenting a system based on the popular Italian fencing it seems to preserve a native Dutch style.
