Start research in NYC in the late 1970s, in communications with some of the other locals at the time, mostly from the League of Renaissance Swordsmen. Moved to the DC area and continued research disappointed that the subject area mostly was overlooked with disdain by serious academics. With the advent of the early internet, began communications with some other early researchers in the US and Europe, sharing research throughout the late 80s to the present.
