Jeff Vansteenkiste's fascination with fencing dates back to childhood and the first wooden sword made for him by his grandfather. He has been involved in historical fencing for the last five years and enjoys both the academic and physical aspects of the hobby, focusing mainly on the Italian traditions of the 16th and 17th centuries.
