In mutuo hoc concursu, si neuter strinxerit ensem, sed alter alterum adgredi vacuis manibus statuerit, tum si hostis te conetur coniicere in equum suum, vel ex ephippio extollere, nec non cupiat humerum sinistrum tuum corripere, tu manum dextram eius brachio itidem dextro superiniicias. Inde si repellas, impetus ipsius irritus est. Postea ipsius brachium dextrum attrahas supra partem sellae anteriorem, et eminentiorem, thorace tuo ipsum adgraves, inde autem si equum ex latere hostis dextro in tuum sinistrum latus flectas, equus hostis equite privabitur.
