Thomas is the instructor at Fresno Freifechter, a Meyer Freifechter Guild Study group. Founded in 2014, the Fresno Freifechter study Meyer's Longsword, Dussack, Rapier and Staff, with an emphasis on the Dussack.
He has been recognized by the Meyer Freifechter Guild with ranks in both longsword and dussack.
Prior to HEMA, Thomas has studied Kendo and Iaido since 2001
