Publication History
De re militari et de duello was printed in Naples in 1476-77 by Sixtus Riessinger. It was translated into Italian in or before 1518, and several Italian editions were printed in Venice thereafter, including in 1518, 1521, 1523, 1540, and 1544.
Also in 1544, it was translated into Spanish and published in Seville, Spain under the title Libro llamado batalla de dos ("Book Called Battle of Two"). In 1580, it was translated into English by Thomas Bedingfield in a manuscript entitled Questions of Honor and Arms (MS V.b.104).
Pozzo's work was also used by Achille Marozzo as the basis of his own treatise on dueling, published as book 5 of his 1536 treatise Opera nova.
