The HEMA Brazil is a Brazilian Association for Historical European Martial Arts and organize groups in order to have two representatives, a captain and a second, representing the interests of their group and region within the organization. We have three annual meetings, quote:

  • Anno Domini - Held in July in preparation for the National Tournament, held then.
  • National Tournament HEMA - To be held its first edition in 2016.
  • Brazilian Meeting of HEMA - National meeting - held in December - to discuss about the year that has passed, rules, and other matters involving HEMA, plus a friendly encounter to cross swords.

Currently the Brazilian groups are dedicated to the tradition of Armizare - Fiore and Vadi, Kunst Des Fechtens - Liechtenauer, and Renaissance fencing, especially Italian rapier, a study of Verdadera Destreza and Montante of Diogo Gomes de Figueyredo.

The HEMA Brasil is member founder of Espada, Ibero-American Community for European Martial Arts
