Mercurio Spezioli (Spetioli) was a 16th century Italian fencing master. Little is known about this master's life apart from that his family was from Fermo and he lived in Bologna. In 1577, Spezioli wrote and published a treatise on warfare, including fencing with the side sword, titled Capitolo di M. Mercvrio Spetioli da Fermo, nel quale si mostra il modo di saper bene schermire, & caualcare ("Chapter by Mr. Mercurio Spetioli of Fermo, which demonstrates the method of learning to fence well, and ride").
