Discussion

Hello Michael,

two things I noticed as I did a quick overview follow:

first the colour image on the right side, that is labeled; "A painted plate that may have been the template for the woodblock print", that is absolutely incorrect, it was coloured in our modern times- digitally... you may find it originally in;

(if it is no longer available for download, I have had it since 09 and can send it to you)

also another copy of the 1600 rests in the library of the GdC (Guardia di Croce) Centre of Studies

Michael,

Another fact, the copy (1570) in the MET was gifted to them in 1957 by Christian A. Zabriskie

do not believe you mentioned the copy in the MET

Michael,

On some pages you make mention of the book publisher(s), Thiebolt Berger was the man for the 1570.
