Instructions
  1. The original message has been preloaded into the edit box for you. Please replace it with your translation.
  2. If the message uses the template {{gadget-desc}}, please translate the description only. Do not change the name or any of the data.
  3. The only exception is that |self needs to be updated with the language code: change |self=MediaWiki:Gadget-translation-editintro to |self=MediaWiki:Gadget-translation-editintro.
  4. Please add {{edit request}} into your message. If you do not, no-one will know about your request and nothing will be done about it.
  5. Please sign your message by appending ~~~~ to the end of the text.
  6. When you press Save, your proposed translation will be saved as an edit request. An editor with appropriate permissions will respond to it in due course (this may sometimes take a few days).
  7. Consider checking whether the gadget itself needs translating, in addition to this gadget description in the Preferences. If so, the talk page of the gadget is normally the best place to discuss this.
