Founder and trainer of Ars Gladii. Doing HEMA, research and giving classes and lectures all over Europe since 1999. Specializes in Sword & Buckler. Writing books, articles and papers - mostly about, but not limited to HEMA. Author of The Book of the Buckler (2015) and The Medieval and Renaissance Buckler (2023). Editor of the book series Meditations on HEMA (2020 – ongoing)
