I'm new to the practice of HEMA, but have been interested for well over a decade. Not having any study groups within a reasonable distance to me, I've recently began practice on my own, study books, videos and any other material I can access. I have background in "Eastern" martial arts, starting in Tae Kwon Do (1st Degree Black Belt), and also studied Youn Wha Ryu, a TKD hybrid system, Kuk Sool Won (Blue Belt), Kenpo, Kickboxing/Muay Thai and done a little grappling here and there throughout the years. Excited to be here.
