De la Filosofia de las Armas y de su Destreza y la Aggression y Defensa Cristiana ("On the Philosophy of Arms and its Skill, and Christian Offense and Defense") is a Spanish fencing manual written by Jerónimo Sánchez de Carranza in 1569 and published in 1582. Carranza's treatise presented a new system of rapier fencing based on geometry which he called la Verdadera Destreza ("The True Skill").

Publication History
Although the preface indicates that it was completed as early as 1569, the first printing of De la Filosofia de las Armas y de su Destreza y la Aggression y Defensa Cristiana seems to have been by Sanlúcar de Barrameda in 1582. Two further editions were produced by Carranza's protégé Luis Pacheco de Narváez in Madrid, Spain, in 1612 and 1616.
