Mutieren (mutieren, mutirn, mutiren, transmuting) is one of the 17 Hauptstucke in the recital of Johannes Liechtenauer, and means an attack from the bind, which is used against an opponent who is soft on the sword, and in which the combatant winds over his opponent’s blade to thrust low.
