Wie die Streitbarn Pferdt ("As the War Horse") is an German treatise on horsemanship written in 1570 by Johann Fayser, based on the 1550 treatise of Federigo Grisone. Rather than offering a straight translation, as earlier writers did, he indicates that Grisone was too convoluted and verbose in his writings, and so Fayser wrote an untangled and clarified version, reorganized into sixth chapters. He also added 88 illustrations created by Jost Amman, and a seventh chapter on mounted fencing.

Wie die Streitbarn Pferdt was published in Augsburg in 1570 by Georg Willers. It was reissued in 1573, 1580, 1599, and 1608. A new edition, with additional text, was published in Frankfurt in 1623 by Gottfreidt Tampach.
