Kurze jedoch deutliche Beschreibung handelnd vom Fechten auf den Stoss und Hieb ("Short but Clear Description Treating Fencing with the Thrust and Blow") is a German fencing manual by Johann Georg Pascha, first printed in 1661. This treatise is most likely based on the rapier teachings from his Kurze Unterrichtung belangend die pique die Fahne, den Jägerstock, Das Voltesiren, das Ringen, das Fechten auf den Stoss und Hieb, und endlich das Trincieren verferrigts ("Brief Information About the Pike, the Flag, the Half-Pike, the Vaulting Horse, the Grapple, the Fence of Thrust and Blow, and Finally the Carving Knife"; 1657), but in expanded form with numerous illustrations of the key techniques.
Publication History
Kurze jedoch deutliche Beschreibung handelnd vom Fechten auf den Stoss und Hieb was first printed in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 1661 by Christian Gerlachs and Simon Beckensteins.
