Eigentliche Beschreibung des Fechtens ihm einfachen Rappir ("Proper Description of Fencing with the Single Rapier"; MS Varia 7) is an anonymous German fencing manual written in ca. 1619.[citation needed] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Staatsbibliothek Bamberg in Bamberg, Germany. It may be connected to the German translation of Salvator Fabris' treatise Lo Schermo, overo Scienza d’Arme, published at Leiden in 1619 by Isack Elzevier.
