La seconda parte della scherma illustrata ("The Second Part of Fencing Illustrated") is an Italian fencing manual written by Giuseppe Morsicato Pallavicini and published in 1673. It treats the use of the rapier with secondary weapons after the Neapolitan fashion.
Publication History
La seconda parte della scherma illustrata was published in Palermo in 1673 by Domenico d'Anselmo. Copies of the book each have one of two different dedications: either a dedication to Francesco Statella et Caruso (the dedicatee of Pallavicini's first book) dated 23 December 1673, or a dedication to Girolamo del Carretto e Branciforte dated 24 December, 1673.
While it was published as a separate project, La seconda parte appears to have been commonly bound together with Pallavicini's earlier book to make a single comprehensive volume.
