David has been a member of the Association for Renaissance Martial Arts since 2001. His primary focus is the longsword, but his other interests include dagger, rapier, and side sword. Although his primary knowledge is based on Liechtenauer-derived sources, he also studies Italian and English sources. His research interests include the English guilds and the London Masters of Defense.
