Additional MS 23223 is an anonymous Italian fencing manual written around the turn of the seventeenth century. The original currently rests in the holdings of the British Library in London, United Kingdom. It discusses the sword (single, double, and paired with dagger, cape, and rotella), as well as polearms and the greatsword; the teachings are similar in many respects to those of Francesco di Sandro Altoni.
