Newer Discůrs Von der Rittermeszigen und Weitberůmbten Kůnst des Fechtens ("New Discourse on the Knightly and World Renowned Art of Fencing") is a German fencing manual written by the Magdeburg physician Joachim Köppe and printed in 1619. The treatise presents an eclectic system of rapier fencing in which Köppe acknowledges influences by Salvator Fabris but is not uncritical of him. Köppe is both the author and publisher of the work and engaged "Johann Hembsen" (i.e., Johann ("Hans") von Hembsen), a well-known artist from Lübeck, to draft the illustrations "from Nature".
