Gadgets

Below is a list of special gadgets users can enable on their preferences page, as defined by the definitions. This overview provides easy access to the system message pages that define each gadget's description and code.

• Navigation popups: article previews and editing functions pop up when hovering over links  (View source | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-popups.js, Gadget-navpop.css
• Reference Tooltips: hover over inline citations to see reference information without moving away from the article text  (View source | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-ReferenceTooltips.js, Gadget-ReferenceTooltips.css
  Enabled for everyone by default.
• Gallerypreview  : Previews categories and galleries when viewing an image. [talk]  (View source | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-Gallerypreview.js
• Instant Delete: Adds a delete-action file input directly in the header of a File-namespace page. Submitting it will instantly delete the page.  (View source | Export)
