Daniel Hambraeus is president of Umeå Historiska fäktskola since 2018 and its Destreza instructor.
Daniel has been fencing since 2003, doing Modern Olympic Fencing. While doing MOF he competed at the national and international level, with luke-warm success. His best accomplishment was winning North Swedish Regional. In 2016 he started studying HEMA as a member of UmeHFS doing KdF Longsword, in 2018 he became the rapier instructor of the club teaching Destreza and soon thereafter also became the club's president.
He is also the creator of the Rada Explained youtube series in which he explains Rada's Destreza from his perspective.
