Eric Mains is an independent HEMA enthusiast and amateur scholar who kicks himself every day for not taking more German, Latin and Old English courses in college. He has studied linguistics, English literature, and creative writing. Eric practices longsword, dagger, and grappling with Medieval and Renaissance Swordsmanship of the Quad Cities (MARS-QC) and the Wisconsin Historical Fencing Association.
