Lynette Nusbacher holds her BA (Honours) in history and economics from the University of Toronto, her MA in War Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada and her DPhil in history from the University of Oxford. She began historical fencing at Hart House in the University of Toronto during the early 1990s with Jeremy Graham, Jeff Forgeng and others. She began teaching fencing at Queen's University in 2004. She is currently an instructor at School of the Sword in England.
