I'm a musician (conductor, composer, guitarist, lutenist, vocalist) with a particular love of Early Music (Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque) and the 20th-C avant-garde. Weird, I know. I also studied Chinese martial arts in my teens and twenties, and enjoy weapons of all kinds (in a peaceful way, of course). I'm just about to start out on my HEMA journey, and frankly I've never been more excited about a martial art; everything I learn about it appeals to me greatly. In the long term, I'd also really love to get into things like re-enactment and perhaps other forms of LARP. These days I reside in the sparsely populated mountains of New England USA with my trusty yellow Labrador Gus.
