Sensei Steven Smith is a 5th degree Black Belt at Wolfpack Karate & MMA in Dothan, Alabama and our authorized Pekiti-Tirsia Kali instructor under Tuhon Tim Waid. Steven has been involved in the Martial Arts since 1979 when he started his training in Yoshukai Karate. In 1986, he switched to Taekwondo under the teaching of the Lee brothers, Grandmaster Soon Man Lee – 8th Dan Black Belt and Master Sun Yong Lee- 7th Dan Black Belt. Throughout the years Steven has had opportunities to train in many different martial arts systems that include Hapkido, Aikido, Inosanto Kali, Ving Tsun Kung Fu, Western Boxing, Krav Maga, and Shotokan Karate. Steven holds a Black Belt with World Yoshukai Karate and a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, black belt is certified by Kukkiwon, the World’s Taekwondo Federation’s headquarters, and further he is a certified Mixed Martial Arts instructor through his Taekwondo affiliates. Steven Smith is actively employed as a Probation Officer with the Florida Department of Corrections where he has served for close to two decades. He is a active member in his church, St. Michael Orthodox Church, where he currently serves as the treasurer. He is married to his wife Mona, and has two sons, Kyle and Logan Smith, who love training in the martial arts with their dad
