The German HEMA-Federation "Deutscher Dachverband Historischer Fechter" was founded in 2014. It's purpose is the support of historicel fencing in Germany in sports and resarch. The members of DDHF are clubs, schools and other training groups with a total of about 1000 individuals (May 2015). The DDHF is member of the international Federation ifhema since December 2014.
