He ran the local UVM Historical Fencing Club for a year during his senior year. Georg has always been fond of the medieval world, being born in Bamberg, Germany he has often wanted to reconnect with the past world that has been left behind. Using his German skills, he aims to give back to the HEMA community by helping translate sources, currently working on the longsword section of the Goliath Fechtbuch. | |

Georg Gick is a recent graduate from the University of Vermont, studying Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. He ran the local UVM Historical Fencing Club for a year during his senior year. Georg has always been fond of the medieval world, being born in Bamberg, Germany he has often wanted to reconnect with the past world that has been left behind. Using his German skills, he aims to give back to the HEMA community by helping translate sources, currently working on the longsword section of the Goliath Fechtbuch.
