Anweisung zur Fechtkunst ("Instructions for the art of fencing"; 4º MS Math.2) is a German fencing manual written in ca. 1620 by Hans Wilhelm Schöffer von Dietz.[citation needed] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Universitätsbibliothek Kassel in Kassel, Germany. It appears to be an intended presentation copy of Schöffer's 1620 book Grůndtliche vñ eigentlichte Beschreibung der Fechtkunst, but it was never completed; beginning on 99r, the figures are only pencil sketches that were never inked.
