Glietzhauw
The Glietzhauw (Glützhauw, Plitzhaw, Blützhaw, Clashing Hew) is a short-edge cut in the longsword in which the hands point upward and the sword crosses in front of the body. This strike is one of a number of Joachim Meÿer's named strikes.
