On pp 24 and 58 of his book on Lew, Hagedorn cites pp 240-255 of Rainer Welle's 1993 book on Ott as a source for this claim, but Welle does not claim that Kal served Ludwig IV at all. Kleinau also rejects this idea in the linked article for the citation re: Nuremberg service. If a source for this claim can be ID'd, we can restore it. | ||||
