     22:44  Paulus Kal diffhist -100 BrianPuckett talk contribs I have researched whether Kal served Ludwig IV "the Gentle" of Wittelsbach, and been completely unable to verify this claim, or even who originally made this claim. On pp 24 and 58 of his book on Lew, Hagedorn cites pp 240-255 of Rainer Welle's 1993 book on Ott as a source for this claim, but Welle does not claim that Kal served Ludwig IV at all. Kleinau also rejects this idea in the linked article for the citation re: Nuremberg service. If a source for this claim can be ID'd, we can restore it.
