I have a Communication design 3 years degree at Politecnico di Milano and I am an associate in Dreamonkey Srl (www.dreamonkey.com), an Italian web and graphic design studio active since 2016. I study Fiore dei Liberi tretease as a member of Compagnia de le Due Maestà in Reggio Emilia, Emilia Romagna, under the teaching of master Corrado Roggeri. I began myself to study on my own Renaissance sources on the topic of Italian spadone and Iberian montante, both from a fencing and social-historical perspective; I'm interested in Camillo Agrippa's, Giacomo di Grassi's and Francesco Ferdinando Alfieri's contribution to this art for the Italian part. Mainly Diogo Gomes de Figueyredo, Luis Godinho and others for the Iberian Montante. I'm collecting iconographic and text sources to explore the role and the handling of such weapons during XVI and XVII centuries, their origins and their sunset as practical and actually used weapons.
