Maister Liechtenawers Kunstbuech ("Master Liechtenauer's Art Book", Cgm 3712) is a German fencing manual created in 1556,[1] possibly by Lienhart Sollinger.[2] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek in Munich, Germany. This manuscript has two main parts. The first half (ff 1r - 88v) is an anthology of treatises by various famous and influential masters of the Liechtenauer tradition, such as Martin Huntsfeld and Andre Lignitzer. The second half (ff 91r - 211v) is primarily a copy of Jörg Wilhalm's extensive treatise from the 1520s, probably sourced from the current Cgm 3711, as well as an assortment of uncaptioned pieces from unknown sources.
