The Codex Guelf 125.16 Extravagantes is a 17th century manuscript assumed to be related to the 2º Col. MS philos. 61 (either an earlier draft or a later copy),[1] a German fencing manual based on treatises by Hans Talhoffer. The original currently rests in the holdings of Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. Aside from the writings of Talhoffer, the work is also significant due to its reference to the MS I.33, to which the scribe appears to have had access.[2]
