Mercurio Spezioli (Spetioli) was a 16th century Italian fencing master. Little is known about this master's life, but he seems to have been born in Fermo, and was an initiate of the Bolognese fencing tradition of Filippo di Bartolomeo Dardi. In 1577, Spezioli wrote and published a treatise on warfare, including fencing with the side sword, titled Capitolo di M. Mercvrio Spetioli da Fermo, nel quale si mostra il modo di saper bene schermire, & caualcare ("Chapter by Mr. Mercurio Spetioli of Fermo, which demonstrates the method of learning to fence well, and ride"). He dedicated it to Giacobo Boncomagno, Marquis of Vignola, but his relationship to the marquessate is unknown.
