The Falkner Turnierbuch was a German fencing manual authored by Peter Falkner, probably created around the turn of the 16th century. The original was previously held by the Strasbourg City Archive, and likely destroyed by the Prussian bombardment during the siege of Strasbourg in 1870. It is mentioned in several texts between 1698 and 1784, the last of which is a dictionary which includes 94 quotations from the manuscript as examples of word usage.[1]
