Eigentliche Beschreibung des Stoßfechtens ("True Description of Thrust-Fencing"; MS Dresden C.13) is a German fencing manual created by Johann Georg Pascha in 1671, largely containing the writings of Heinrich von und zum Velde and others.[citation needed] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Sächsische Landesbibliothek in Dresden, Germany. This manuscript is a compendium of lessons on fencing based on the teachings of earlier masters, including Salvator Fabris and Gérard Thibault; interestingly, Paschen states that he became acquainted with the Fabrisian school through a friend who was a student of Velde.
