The Codices 10825 and 10826 are a two-volume 16th century German manuscript commissioned by Paulus Hector Mair and commonly dated to 1542.[citation needed] They currently rest in the holdings of the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek in Vienna, Austria. Illustrated by the renowned painter Jörg Breu the Younger and produced at great personal expense, this manuscript is one of the three versions of Opus Amplissimum de Arte Athletica, Mair's enormous compendium of martial arts teachings.
